Recycled Wool & Lambswool Throw | Lovik | Deep Blue
Beautiful, chunky and super soft throw woven in a blue chevron pattern, using 25% recycled wool and 75% oeko-tex® lambswool, from Swedish Klippan Yllefabrik.
The recycled wool fibres are collected from pre-consumer fibres and scraps that have been discarded during the cut and sewing process. It can be anything from wool from the carding machine, to yarn threads from the weaving loom. The fibres are broken down and spun into new yarns. This process requires less energy to make and conserves natural resources; small things that can make a big difference!
The organic lambswool used in Klippan’s products is totally free of pesticides, and no chemicals or antibiotics have been used during the breeding of the sheep.
No chemicals are present on the fields or in the food given to the sheep. The wool has been washed very carefully and no heavy metal toxins were used for dyeing this wool.
