The Lyngby vase in glass is a modern take on the Danish classic porcelain Lyngby vase. The original Lyngby-vase was first launched in Denmark in 1936 and has become a real Scandinavian design classic. In 1936 the vase was completely different to everything else found at the time, and a stark contrast to the more detailed designs of the time. It wasn’t until the 50’s that the clean, simple design was accepted and appreciated. A timeless classic!
